I been played CosmoTiles on one of the earlier releases, and I really like it. I think the developers have done a great job of creating a game that is both challenging and fun to play. I'm looking forward to the full release and hope that you continue to add new content and features. Great work!
Here's my playthrough if anyone would like to see:
Very delightful! A calm yet challenging puzzle game
The creator asked if I'd give this a look, and I'm very glad I did! So far, this is a delightfully cozy puzzle/pattern game. I could see playing this to relax or pass the time during work. I did have a little difficulty understanding some of the mechanics when it came to the colors of the tiles, but I'm going to blame myself mostly since there was text around explaining it that I just missed, haha.
I'm Cryptic Paw, and I received a request to play and rate Cosmotiles on my YouTube channel!
I like to analyze games from a casual POV to give indie game devs advice and insight on what worked and how to further improve their games. You can find the rating video at the link below.
I agree that Orange and red are a bit hard to distinguish.
Also, it would be nice if there were a way to deselect the tile when you've selected it from the side panel but don't want to use it. That would minimize accidental placement.
This was a beautiful little experience and it ran perfectly fine and bug free on my decade old linux thinkpad, good job with that. Once this is finished, you should release it on mobile, it's perfect when waiting at the bus stop.
Only critique at this point would be the outline colors in the left bar. Green and grey are fine, the rest all being a bunch of red/brown/beige is too hard to differentiate at a glance.

Great game! Nice teaser on reddit :)
I would love to have a version where the keyboard could be used to turn the world. Or a drag and drop way to turn it...
I have a laptop with touch pad... complex to use the third button.
Thank you. Yeah, it would be hard to play with touchpad.
Very nice game.
Nice game made by a friendly dev, looking forward to playing the full game!
This game is amazing. Thank you for creating it.

Hey, thanks for trying out the game. I will think about how to improve outline visibility.
